Japanese films always show things that are unexpected. In 2015, Japan has a row of movie romance highly captivate the audience. Whether, the movies were the best-selling movie in Japan or have been won several movie festivals. Alright, here is the Top 10 Japanese Romance Movie on 2015.

10.Shirakawa Yofune

The film is about a woman, Terako (Sakura Ando) who has an affair with a man, Iwanaga (Iura Arata) who already has a wife in a coma. Terako have a good friend named Shiori (Mitsuki Tanimura) who is a “soineya”, it is a job that accompany someone sleeping with cuddling, no more. One day, Shiori suicide and Terako feel the emptiness. She was shocked and decided to spend his life with sleeping and more sleeping.

  1. Initiation Love

The film, also known as Inishieshon Rabu backgrounds in the 1980s that tells about a man named Yuuki Suzuki (Matsuda Shota) in a relationship with Mayuko Nauroka (Maeda Atsuko) and they have to undergo a long-distance relationship because Suzuki get a job in Tokyo. Slowly, their relationship began to waver because Suzuki began close with another woman, Miyako Ishimura (Kimura Fumino).

Ichiko Sakurai (Maki Yoko) is a woman aged 30 years who have 5 different characters in her brain: Yoshida played by Hidetoshi Nishijima has the character as a chairman who led the meeting in the brain Ichiko, Ishibashi is a character who is optimistic played by Ryunosuke Kamiki, Ikeda a pessimistic character played by you Yoshida, then Hatoko played by Sakurada Hiyori who runs the character currently living, and Kishi (Kazuyuki Asano), which acts as a character who thinks about the past. Once, when Ichiko is in drinking establishment, she met with Ryoichi Saotome (Yuki Furukawa), which has very much age difference, and she cannot forget him.

The film adapted from a manga titled “Piece of Cake” by George Asakura played by Mikako Tabe as Shino Umemiya that goes into a new place for a fresh start after breaking up with her boyfriend who cheated. There, Shino met Kyoshiro Sugahara (Go Ayano) which is her manager and also her new neighbor. Because of his encounter every day, Shino became interested in Kyoshiro. However, there is one thing withy about Kyoshiro, a mysterious woman who lived with him, Akari (Mitsumune Kaoru)

  1. Kakekomi Onna to Kakedashi otoko

This Film is adaptation from a novel “Takeiji Hanayadori” by Hisashi Inoue which is set in the Edo period that has a higher divorce rate than at present. Governments implement austerity rules that make things worse, causing chaos, many divorce and sexual harassment. The women who went through a divorce and sexual harassment chose to go and live in Toke-ji, a Buddhist temple located in Kamakura, Japan. In Toke-Ji there is a doctor named Nabujiro Nakamura (Oizumi Yo) who wants to be a writer of literature by helping women to start their new life. There, Nabujiro met with Jogo (Erika Toda) who choose to live in Toke-Ji because her husband irresponsible and Ogin (Mitsushima Hikari), a concubine of deler wholesaler in Toke-Ji.

  1. Otoko No Isshou

Known as Her Granddaughter, a movie about Tsugumi Dozono (Nana Eukira) working in an electronics company in Tokyo who choose to move to her grandmother home who died recently and decided to work at home. One day, there was a man, June Kaeida who suddenly wants to spend the night at home. The man was confessed as ex-student of his grandmother and has a spare key from her grandmother. From there, they began living together.

  1. Bakuman

This is one of my favorite romances. This movie is played by Sato Takeru as Mashiro Moritaka (Saiko) which has outstanding drawing skills, but do not want to be like his uncle who was a mangaka. Kamiki Ryunosuke as Akito Takagi (Shujin) is a genius writer. They both joined to become pro mangaka because Saiko fall in love with a girl who wants to be a voice artist.

  1. Strobe Edge

Who like reading romance manga, must be familiar with Strobe Edge. Yes! This movie also an adaptation from manga with the same title made by Lo Sakisaka. It is a story about a high school freshman girl, Ninako kinoshita (Kasumi Arimura) which fall in Love with her handsome classmate guy who is popular in their school, Ren Ichinose (Sota Fukushi). The problems are Ninako has no experience in Love and Ren already has beautiful girlfriend. Day by day, they are getting closer and they must deal with their one-sided love.

  1. Seven Days: Friday – Sunday

Yuzuru Shino (James Takeshi Yamada) asks (with joking) Toji Suryo (Hiroshi Tamaki) to date, but Toji respond and accept. Yuzuru thinking, their relationship will be the same as the relationship Toji once, always broke up in a week. He does not take it as a serious relationship, but Yuzuru feeling’s has grown and when Friday came, Yuzuru feel sad because Sunday will come soon.

  1. Seven Days: Monday – Thursday

This movie tells about Toji Seryo (Hirose Tamaki), first grade students who highly popular. He once said that he would be dating anyone who expressed love to him every Monday and later he always broke up on Sunday. On the other hand, there is a third grade student, Yuzuru Shino (Yamada James Takeshi) who is pretty, but he always dumped by her girlfriend. Suddenly, he curious and invited Toji and he want to date him.
